There are just some things that are simply too good to keep to yourself. No matter how weird, no matter how odd they may sound at first. This is one of those things.
This is about a perfect moment. A perfect moment shared.
My name is Jason Brumbelow, and one day in May 2007, while I was driving home from visiting my parents lake house, something inexplicably caught my eye. I stopped to gain a better view, and what I saw took my breath away.
A Cow…
Stop laughing… read on.
Ok wait - maybe it’s alright to chuckle a little – I understand.
That’s because we all know cows are not exactly rare creatures. Nor are they all that exciting. If I had to venture a guess, I would imagine most people have seen hundreds if not thousands of cows over the course of their lives.
But yes, I saw a cow…
in the Field…
Again - big deal right? Fields are…. well, they’re all over.
But this lone cow, in this huge field, was different. Very different.
As the cow and I exchanged looks, I couldn’t help but notice the beautiful scenery; an immense field swaying along with the cool breeze, illuminated by the reclining sun. Something about it (and I honestly don’t know what) spoke to me on the inside. At that one moment, everything became clear.
I don’t know how to explain it, but in that moment I knew everything in life was going to turn out fine.
…on the Wall
I had to capture this feeling.
These emotions don’t exactly come often. So I grabbed my camera, and tried to capture my moment. I took a picture, and hoped beyond hope that I encased my tiny little moment on a piece of film so that I could relive it for the rest of my life.
To be honest, at that time, I really had no idea if I truly captured it. I’m not a professional photographer, and these things are always fleeting. But again, I held out hope that I did.
I developed the picture, had it turned into a 18x24 print, and, quite frankly, I was blown away…
Much to my surprise, I really did capture the moment. I feel the same way looking at the picture as I did when I saw it live. It was
And I really mean amazing – every emotion was captured in this picture. Just an awe-inspiring shot. One in a million, really.
I got lucky.
Now, here’s the REALLY amazing thing.
Then, one day, I walk into my office, and there’s my co-worker, staring at this cow. I asked her what she was doing, and she didn’t answer. I had to ask again, which kind of broke her spell… she said “Where did you get this?”
When I told her I photographed it, she couldn’t believe it. Her exact words were… “Really? It’s ….extraordinary.”
Extraordinary.
Nice word (especially for a cow!)
And she’s not alone.
To a person, everyone in my office loved it. And I mean beyond “hey, nice picture.” WAY beyond that. It was almost as if this picture had an effect on people.
Many report the same “at peace” feeling I had. There’s just something about this cow, in this field, on a wall. It’s simply a magical picture.
And I’m going to offer it to you.
This is easily the best photograph I have ever seen. And I never gave cows any further thought than “moo” or “dinner.” This is more than a photograph… it’s a picture of life. |
I know what you’re thinking…
One thing I can definitely assure you is that this is no joke or trick. I have a goal: my goal is to provide you with the experience I felt that moment. By capturing it on film, I am able to offer you with a 18x24 print of a cow, in a field, on your wall.
For less than ten bucks.
This picture is about more than you or I (or even the cow) - it’s about the amazing world we live in. I truly feel as if I have captured the essence of nature and life. This essence is in the hearts of every living creature on Earth.
Can it be bottled? No, but it can be photographed and felt.
And that’s what I did. I was lucky – this isn’t about my skill as a photographer (I really have no skill in this area, and could never do this again.) This is about a perfect moment that I was lucky enough to capture on film.
I felt it, and you can feel it too (going by my sample, you will.) Maybe gazing at the sunset in the picture, watching as this part of the world gets ready for a night’s rest, will inspire or motivate you.
Maybe investigating how the sunset affects everything—the color, the shadows, the plants and animals, the world. Seeing that could open your eyes as to how complex and awe-inspiring our world can be.
Or, just look at that cow as I did…
Dairy cows (like this one was) spend their time grazing in fields, eating, and sleeping. And though it may not be living the most extravagant or adventurous life in the world; it is still living quite well if you look at it from a simple perspective. Look into its eyes, and you will see nature untouched.
I cannot describe that feeling to you, but I can tell you, it’s worth feeling.
And it’s certainly worth the $9.77 I’m going to ask you for the picture.
Looking at that cow, I saw how simple life can be. With everything going on in this world today causing mass stress, anxiety, and hopelessness; here is this cow, undaunted by the melting-pot that is the world.
In simple terms, the cow is too busy enjoying life (and some solitude) to be bothered by wars, celebrities, and politics.
The best ten dollars I have ever spent. I seriously mean that. And I collect nice photographs. “In a field on the wall” needs to be “In a gallery, on the wall”.

We live complicated lives. Some of us work 40 or more hours a week, only to spend all of our hard-earned money on bills, clothing, food, etc… It can make life tedious and boring. What’s worse is it can make you forget the things and people who are really important to you.
I felt like that once. But when I look at that cow in my picture, I know what is truly important to me. And I’ve got to tell you, it feels really good.
OK, here are the details…
I’m offering “In a field, on the wall” for $9.77. Your $9.77 buys you a high quality, thoroughly handsome 18x24 print of the best picture you will ever see.
There’s not much else to say – if you’re reading this far, you owe it to yourself to see “In a field, on the wall” with your own eyes. The picture is vivid, beautiful, and begs to be framed and hung on the wall.
It will enrich your life. It really will. It’s just that simple.
It is fair to tell you that the print run is done on these. In other words, there are a limited number of prints. Once the run is gone, the cow is gone.
But wait – can I see the picture first??
In a word, no.There are a few reasons for this:

Second, a computer picture does not do it justice. Seeing a small thumbnail here won’t impress you. Seeing it as you un-wrap it when the postman delivers it – THAT will impress you.
Third, not showing it here keeps it exclusive. If you want this picture, you have to buy it here, on this website. There is no other way to get one.
I hope you’ve enjoyed your little stay, and I hope you take the leap of faith and own the best picture you will ever see.
I took the chance and bought your picture site unseen. I have to say, it’s everything you said it was. Thank you very much – I’m glad I stumbled upon your website. |
